The MAC Belfast
The annual ICTU Union Learning Conference will take place on Friday 31st March 2023 in The MAC, Belfast. This year's conference theme; 'New Opportunities for Union Learning' will utilise speakers and stalls to look at:
- Upskilling opportunities through SERC and The Open University
- The Royal Literary Fund
- The Belfast Labour Market Partnership
- Ways of developing the Union Learning Fund programme
The conference is a chance to celebrate our work over the past year as well as look forward to the year ahead. The highlight of this year's conference will be the launch of the ICTU Learning Hub. Designed in partnership with The Open University, this online hub will contain free upskilling short courses, aimed at workers in various sectors across the island of Ireland.
For those new to Union Learning or interested in the concept, the day will be a useful introduction and an opportunity to network with existing Union Learning Reps, identify sources of support and meet with education providers.
There is no charge to attend this event and a light lunch will be served.
