The annual NIC ICTU Union Learning Conference will take place on Thursday 14th March in the Ebrington Hotel, Derry.

This year's conference theme: 'Skills for a Transforming Economy' will utilise speakers and stalls to look at:

  • Unions negotiating and supporting skills delivery for a just transition.
  • Working with partners to address workforce skills needs.
  • Ways of developing the Union Learning programme.
  • Experiences of ULRs and the Union Learning Fund project participants.

Included on the day will be the launch of a Green Skills section on the ICTU Learning Hub and an Open Day Exhibition with the North West Regional College from 1.30 – 15.30.

For those new to Union Learning or interested in the concept, the day will be a useful introduction and an opportunity to network with existing Union Learning Reps and ULF Project Managers, identify sources of support and meet with education providers.
