As you know, the NI Assembly is being recalled following the racist violence and intimidation of the past few days.
In advance of that, we are proposing that trade unions show leadership and rally for the values we stated last Friday
We stand with all victims of hate crime; we support our public servants who defend the vulnerable and we have zero tolerance for divisive misinformation or attempts to spark violence

We have arranged with the Stormont authorities to host a rally for trades unionists and all those across our community who share our values of equality, diversity and solidarity. We are working with our friends at NICVA to ensure a large and representative turnout.
The Event will see workers and leaders of trade unions speak out for these values, and we request that affiliates bring as many members as possible and be visible with their trade union banners and trade union flags.
