This year is proving to be one of the most economically disruptive years in recent memory. The disruption is noteworthy because it follows on from 2 years dominated by a global pandemic. Next year is unlikely to provide much respite from the economic turmoil. The cost of living crisis poses a grave threat to our economy and society, and this report seeks to explain why immediate action is required.
