Trade Unions Challenging Inequality

This course is aimed at union officials and experienced union representatives.

Trade unions have always been at the forefront of the drive for equality and inclusion at work, whether through the struggle for equal pay, through tackling sectarianism, racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of prejudice. The course will look at all aspects of inequality in the workplace, including social and economic, and focus on developing strategies to effect positive change.

The course will include:

Health and Safety Stage 2

This stage 2 course is a necessary progression for health and safety reps.

Certificate in Employment Law

This course aims to deepen the understanding of concepts raised in the stage 1 course and providing guidance on the practical application and development of rep’s skills.

The course includes:

  • Trade Union Approach to Employment Rights
